UICB opens new gallery space in the basement of North Hall

The UI Center for the Book is proud to announce a new gallery space located on the B Floor of North Hall.  The K.K. Merker Gallery, named after Kim Merker, founding director of the UICB, was made possible by a generous donation from the Windgate Charitable Foundation combined with additional support from the Graduate College.

The gallery is outfitted with seven vitrines, two large wall spaces, gallery storage, and track lighting. Solo and group shows are now possible on a year round basis and will include student work as well as faculty and visiting exhibitions.
